About Flint Rock Ranch
Settled in 1905, Flint Rock has been in the Mitchell family since 1950. Since that time, cattle and horses have called the place home - as well as all kinds of wildlife!
With 1000 acres of prime grazing, Flint Rock Ranch is perfectly suited for cattle ranching and horse back riding.
We have a cook house on-site that features a beautiful double oven, six burner stove, and all the ammenities you and your group will need to prepare wonderful homecooked meals. Everything tastes better out here :)
We have 2 guest cottages that sleep 6 and have their own washroom facilities.
The main lodge sleeps 8 comfortably but there is also lots of camping space available - inside and out! There is also a big kitchen, 3 bathrooms, dining area, fireplace, and sitting area avaiable for your use.
A horse barn, and big workshop quonset complete the compound.
We are a 2.5 hour drive from Calgary, and 25 min. comute to the town of Pincher Creek. The gateway to the Rockies - Crows Nest - is 25 inutes away. As well, the beautiful townsite of Waterton is 1.5 hours away.
